Travis Scott has not been seen on WWE TV since WrestleMania 41 night two, and reports state the two sides have fully ‘fallen out’.
Scott was part of John Cena’s heel inner circle from his turn at Elimination Chamber to the main event of Mania. Plans had seemed to suggest that Scott was training for a match in a WWE ring, but talk of such plans soon went quiet.
Drew McIntyre recently called Scott a “piece of s***” for ‘screwing up’ Mania’s main event during an appearance on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast, with Dave Meltzer noting in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Scott and WWE have had a full falling out and it is now ‘open season’ to knock him.
It’s believed Scott was supposed to be a downloadable playable character for WWE 2K25, but has been pulled and replaced with El Grande Americano. Some close to the situation have claimed the decision was made as players would rather have wrestlers as DLC rather than celebrities, but the belief is that celebrity characters may entice non WWE fans to purchase and play the game, such is their drawing power.
No reason has been given as to the nature of WWE and Scott’s falling out. WWE seemingly altered plans by bringing in country star Jelly Roll to team with Randy Orton against McIntyre and Paul at SummerSlam in August 2025.
