WWE reportedly have further plans for Goldberg, following the Hall of Famer's appearance at Bad Blood.

The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion was sitting in the front row at the premium live event and had a confrontation with current World Heavyweight Champion Gunther, jumping the barricade and having to be held back by security after being antagonised by The Ring General.

While a match between the two men is not scheduled for either Survivor Series or WrestleMania (according to The Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer), it could still happen elsewhere.

During a recent edition of a Backstage Pass Q&A, someone asked whether Goldberg could show up at Crown Jewel and cost Gunther his match with Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.

While that specific creative wasn't confirmed, WrestleVotes replied: "Yes, I don't know for sure, but there are plans for Goldberg in the future, yes".

Earlier this year, the 57-year-old said he would "love" to have a retirement match.

WWE's Chief Content Officer Paul 'Triple H' Levesque said "never say never" with regards to Goldberg competing in a WWE ring once again.

Levesque subsequently posted a photo of the two of them on social media, indicating that WWE were planning to hold talks with Da' Man.
