Report: WWE Hesitant To Make Seth Rollins World Heavyweight Champion

Could Seth Rollins lose at WWE Night of Champions?

Seth Rollins will have the opportunity to become a world champion in WWE once again later this month when he faces AJ Styles in the final of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship tournament. The final will headline the Night of Champions pay-per-view in Saudi Arabia on Saturday, May 27. 

It is unknown who will leave Saudi Arabia with the gold but a potential spoiler has emerged as WWE are reportedly hesitant about putting the belt on Seth Rollins, according to a new report from WRKD Wrestling.

"Seth Rollins' #WWERaw segment last night was pretaped due to filming @Marvel's 'Captain America: New World Order.' While many backstage are very happy for him, there is hesitancy when it comes to putting the new title on him should these roles continue," WRKD Wrestling tweeted.

It emerged today that Rollins had been spotted on the set of Captain America: New World Order in Atlanta, GeorgiaHe is rumoured to play a member of the Serpent Society, the possible villains in the new Marvel Cinematic Universe movie.
