Report: WWE Hire New Lead Creative Writer

Changes in the WWE creative team

WWE have reportedly brought in former MTV producer and writer Mike Heller as the newest lead creative writer in the company.

Ringside News is reporting that Heller joined WWE in February and is one of three lead creative writers, linking up with Ed Koskey and Ryan Callahan.

Heller previously worked for E! as a writer and has produced shows such as Jackass and Fantasy Factory. His longest stint on a single project was his time with Ridiculousness - a comedy clip show - where he worked from November 2011 until August 2017.

Prior to joining WWE, Heller worked as a showrunner for Jukin Media’s “You Break It, We Buy It” digital series between October – December 2020.

On a related note, Ringside News also reports that Andrea Listenberger recently left the company. Listenberger was a  creative writer who took a lead role in the SummerSlam 2020 storyline with Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville. Her recent departure is actually the second time she's left WWE, having initially been released in April 2020 as a part of the COVID-19 budget cuts.
