Universal Championship Match Contract Signing Set For WWE Smackdown

Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns will sign the contract for their Universal Championship match at WWE Fastlane 2021 tonight on Friday Night Smackdown. 

Bryan earned the opportunity to challenge Reigns for the Title after being Jey Uso in a Steel Cage Match last week, having previously been beaten by The Tribal Chief in a matter of minutes at Elimination Chamber in February. 

The two will meet face-to-face in the ring on Friday to put pen-to-paper on the contract for their match at Fastlane, in one of three advertised segments for this week's Smackdown. 

Also confirmed for Smackdown is the KO Show, where Kevin Owens will welcome Smackdown Women's champion Sasha Banks and her WrestleMania 37 opponent Bianca Belair. The two are set to challenge for the WWE Tag Team Championships against Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler at Fastlane. 

Big E's return to Smackdown has also been advertised. The Intercontinental Champion has been absent for a number of weeks as a result of a vicious attack by Apollo Crews.
