While Bobby Lashley was expected to be out of action for four months due to a shoulder injury, The All Mighty could be back on WWE TV much earlier than anticipated.
Reports have noted that Omos is scheduled for a singles match at WrestleMania and his planned opponent as of last weekend was Lashley.
This came as somewhat of a surprise for many due to Lashley's injury status but Mike Johnson of PWInsider noted the two-time WWE Champion was at the venue of WrestleMania 38, AT&T Stadium, last week and the company is hoping the 45-year-old will be cleared in time to perform at The Showcase Of The Immortals.
Lashley has been off WWE TV since February's Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, when he was taken out of the namesake match before he could enter the ring after Seth Rollins Powerbombed Austin Theory through the then-WWE Champion's pod.
Lashley suffered a shoulder injury at Royal Rumble one month earlier during his WWE Title match against Brock Lesnar.
