An update on the discrimination lawsuit filed by former WWE writer Britney Abrahams has emerged.

Abrahams filed a 31-page lawsuit against WWE, Vince McMahon, Stephanie McMahon, Ryan Callahan, Christine Lubrano, Jen Pepperman, Chris Dunn, and Mike Heller in April, alleging that she was discriminated against and fired for objecting to multiple instances of "offensively racist and stereotypical jargon" in WWE scripts.

Several pitches were described in the lawsuit, including one storyline in which Mansoor would have been revealed as the man responsible for the 9/11 attacks, and another where Shane Haste would have hunted Reggie and kept him in a cage.

Abrahams alleges she was fired after taking home a commemorative WrestleMania chair, which she claims was simply a cover for the real reason she was let go.

In an update, court records for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York have revealed that no lawsuit summons have been issued to any of the defendants, PWInsider reported. No summons have been issued because "there must be a rider attached to the summons with the name and addresses of all defendants included."

The lawsuit filing initially confused some in WWE, PWInsider noted, as they had never heard of Abrahams. This is because she used a professional moniker during her time with the company which meant most of her former colleagues knew her as Onyx Espri.
