Report: WWE Interested In Re-Signing Another Former Talent

Another name could be WWE-bound

WWE are interested in bringing back another former talent.

According to WrestleVotes, the company have a "significant interest" in re-signing Chelsea Green. She could also be set for a main roster run if she were to rejoin the organisation.

"I'm told another name WWE has significant interest in bringing back is Chelsea Green. I would think if a deal is offered, it's for the main roster. Time will tell," WrestleVotes tweeted.

Green previously worked for WWE from 2018 until her release in April 2021. Her time with the company was plagued by injuries, however, including her main roster debut where she broke her wrist upon wrestling on SmackDown.

Since her release, Green has competed for pre-Tony Khan Ring of Honor and the National Wrestling Alliance. She is currently one-half of the Knockouts World Tag Team Champions with VXT partner Deonna Purrazzo in IMPACT Wrestling.

Green has also been a popular act on the independent wrestling scene with husband Matt Cardona, primarily in GCW.

WWE have brought back a number of talents since the new regime replaced Vince McMahon at the top of the company. Triple H has shown an interest in recruiting independent wrestlers too and the organisation are said to be interested in signing Bandido and Matt Taven.
