Report: WWE Interested In Re-Signing No Way Jose

Could we see conga lines back on WWE TV soon...

Back in mid-October, a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider noted WWE had re-signed Tino Sabbatelli. The NXT Superstar was released by the company back in April as part of company-wide cutbacks but rejoined WWE after a very brief stint in All Elite Wrestling.

Sabbatelli seemingly isn't the only former Superstar WWE has been interested in re-signing recently. Fightful Select reported wrestlers inside and outside of WWE told them the company is interested in bringing back No Way Jose. WWE recently filed to trademark "The Way" and many NXT talents believe the trademark was intended for El Jefe. Fightful also noted Jose was well-liked in both the NXT and Raw locker rooms.

Since being released by WWE in April, No Way Jose has wrestled once in Doc Gallows' Lariato Pro Wrestling Guild as Levy Valnez. On the show, he teamed with Gallows against Air Paris & Aleksandr Koloff.

During his first run in WWE, No Way Jose was primarily used as an enhancement talent on Monday Night Raw, losing against the likes of Bobby Lashley, Mojo Rawley, Erick Rowan and Drew McIntyre. He did have some feuds in NXT, though, facing Austin Aries and SAnitY before he moved to the main roster following WrestleMania 34.
