Report: WWE Interested In Signing HOOK

HOOK has influential admirers within WWE

WWE are interested in signing AEW star HOOK, according to a new report.

Insider account Better Wrestling Experience noted that HOOK has high-ranking admirers with the competition. Namely, Chief Content Officer Paul 'Triple H' Levesque and Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative Shawn Michaels.

While HOOK's AEW contract/status have not been confirmed, it was speculated that the second-generation star would be the 'easiest catch' for WWE right now (and that he could be the first of many to jump ship). Additionally, HOOK's father (and current AEW announcer) Taz reportedly wants his son to work for WWE. Taz worked for the company as a wrestler and then commentator between 2000 and 2009.

HOOK made his pro-wrestling in-ring debut on the December 10, 2021 edition of Dynamite. Starting out as a heel member of Team Taz, he turned babyface and is now aligned with the Hardys. Of late, the 24-year-old has also been teaming with Jack Perry, with JungleHOOK reportedly set to continue throughout the summer.

HOOK is the current FTW Champion, though the title is not officially sanctioned by AEW.
