On Wednesday, IMPACT Wrestling confirmed they had released Killer Kross. Relations between Kross and IMPACT previously soured after The Herald Of Doomsday requested a pay rise on his $20,000 per year deal. Instead of listening to his grievances, IMPACT told Kross that he should find a second job, which the AAA star described as, "f****d up."

Shortly after his release,

the former Lucha Underground star released a cryptic video

which included images of many WWE Superstars, including Roman Reigns, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Johnny Gargano.

Now,

WrestleVotes have reported that WWE is interested in signing Kross

, and they are actively pursuing him harder than they normally pursue free agents.

Previous reports

have indicated that it would make sense for Kross to sign with the company as his girlfriend, Scarlett Bordeaux is currently signed to a developmental contract in NXT.

WrestleVotes tweeted: "WWE’s interest level is significantly high in signing Killer Kross. Source said he should get a similar offer to that of which was extended to Hangman Page last year. No telling if Kross will sign, but WWE is definitely pursuing him, harder than they normally pursue other FAs."
