Report: WWE Interested In Signing Komander

WWE have their eye on Komander

Komander made his grand arrival on international pro-wrestling television on the March 1 edition of All Elite Wrestling Dynamite, stealing the show in the eight-man Face of the Revolution Ladder Match.

The lucha star has worked for the likes of Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, MLW, and GCW in the past, but his maiden AEW appearance was the first time Komander received national exposure, and a report from Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter suggests that he has caught the eye of WWE.

Meltzer claims that Komander is ‘very much on WWE’s radar’, suggesting that WWE were keeping tabs on the 24-year-old ahead of his AEW debut. Komander is currently under contract with KAOZ in Mexico, and it’s believed he couldn’t sign with WWE or AEW without the express approval of KAOZ at this current moment in time, were an offer to be made.

Komander’s appearance in AEW was not the original plan for the Face of the Revolution, as Tony Khan allegedly wanted El Hijo del Vikingo to make his AEW debut in the ladder match, instead asking for Komander after they were informed that Vikingo was unavailable.
