We are less than one week removed from Survivor Series WarGames, and WWE are reportedly seeing the event as a major success.

Per Fightful Select, WWE have touted the success of the event on an internal memo sent out to company execs on November 30, revealing how Survivor Series was the most viewed Survivor Series event on record, up a reported 46% from the 2021 edition.

The memo also detailed how Survivor Series had the best in-venue merchandise sales in the event’s history (up 20% from 2021) and has the highest live gate for WWE events in Boston and for Survivor Series as a whole, which Triple H noted at the post-show press conference.

Fightful’s report also suggests that WWE were touting that ‘fan enjoyment’ was up 48% compared to 2021 - with Fightful noting they were not sure how this is measured exactly - whilst social media videos about Survivor Series were also up, with the TikTok video of Roman Reigns sending Sami Zayn into the match garnering 13 million views alone

Promoting the first WarGames matches in main roster WWE history, Survivor Series was well received by fans, with many noting how it was the first Survivor Series in years that felt like a ‘big five’ PPV.
