Report: WWE Introduces New Social Media Rule For Talent

A new rule for WWE talent when it comes to social media posts

WWE have instituted a new rule for talent when it comes to posting on social media.

Tuesday's edition of NXT saw the latest chapter in the feud between Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne. While Jayne would pick up the win in three minutes, she ended up being busted open and posted a photo of herself covered in blood on social media.

Such conduct is seemingly frowned upon within WWE now as Bryan Alvarez reported on Wrestling Observer Live that a new rule has been introduced which bans talent from posting images on social media of their injuries or blood.

"There were two segments on this show where somebody ended up covered in blood and apparently there is a new rule that WWE talent are not allowed to take pictures of their injuries and there is an absolute you are not allowed to take pictures of any blood whatsoever," Alvarez said.

WWE have been opposed to blood on their programming since 2008 and talents have largely only bladed on TV under exceptional circumstances. Talent do end up being busted open hard-way sometimes but images from those matches end up being posted in black and white.
