Report: WWE Main Roster Run For The Hardys Yet To Be Discussed

Matt & Jeff of The Hardys made their return to WWE this past week, competing against the No Quarter Catch Crew on an episode of NXT. The reigning TNA World Tag Team Champions are the latest benefactors from the WWE/TNA working relationship,  and the two are also set to defend their gold against NXT Tag Team Champions Fraxiom at NXT Roadblock. 

When it comes to The Hardys competing on the main roster, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has revealed that he’s been told that it has not yet been discussed. There is a chance that someone will pitch an appearance on RAW or SmackDown, but as of last week it has not yet been a talking point within WWE. 

This could contradict a report that also emerged this last week regarding The Hardys, as WrestleVotes noted that following the release of a new Hardys t-shirt on WWE Shop, those internally within WWE were optimistic about the multi-time WWE Tag Team Champions returning to the main roster over the summer. Of course, this could just be optimism rather than “discussions”, so there is a chance that these two reports go hand in hand.
