Report: WWE Management Very Happy With Recent Raw Match

A WWE Raw match was widely praised behind the scenes

WWE aired the latest edition of Monday Night Raw from the CFG Bank Arena in Baltimore, Maryland on July 3 and the show featured a widely-praised match as Rhea Ripley defended the Women's World Championship against Natalya.

The Queen of Harts has suffered from a crisis of confidence on WWE TV in recent weeks following her 70-second loss to Ripley at Night of Champions in late May and the story of the match saw Natalya look to prove herself against the champion. Both she and Ripley put together a gritty match, during which Ripley's mouth got busted open, and the champion ultimately won the match with Riptide.

According to Fightful Select, WWE management were very happy with the match, in particular the gritty nature of the contest. Both Ripley and Natalya were also very happy with the match they put together and the reaction it received backstage and online. Natalya and Ripley also noted how much fun they had in the ring together and they were said to have given each other "a real beating."
