Report: WWE Money In The Bank Date May Be Changed

Is currently set for Saturday, July 2

A possible logistical issue might see WWE move its Money in the Bank pay-per-view out of its announced July 2 event date, but if so, it wouldn't move too far.

Money in the Bank is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, July 2, to take place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

However, UFC recently confirmed that their annual International Fight Week will take place in Las Vegas on the same weekend, with UFC 276 being held on that Saturday night in Las Vegas' T-Mobile Arena.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful addressed the potential issue of staging both events in Vegas on that Saturday, noting that WWE has a venue hold on Allegiant Stadium for Sunday, July 3 as well, so WWE could possibly move Money in the Bank back a day.

Sapp wrote Saturday night, "I'm told there's unlikely to be a conflict as WWE also has a hold on Allegiant Stadium for Sunday, July 3. With the Independence Day holiday on Monday, it looks like it will all be sorted by the time Money in the Bank tickets go on sale and there will be pretty big weekend there."

This year's Money in the Bank marks the second annual WWE pay-per-view to be held at Las Vegas' Allegiant Stadium, after the 2021 SummerSlam was staged there.
