Report: WWE NXT Halloween Havoc Match To Possibly Be Scrapped
WWE NXT Halloween Havoc could lose a title match
Oct 14, 2022
WWE NXT's next major event is set to take place next week as Halloween Havoc will emanate from the WWE Performance Center on Saturday, October 22.
Several major matches have already been announced for the show but one match could be scrapped. Mandy Rose is scheduled to defend her NXT Women's Championship against Alba Fyre but Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the match isn't guaranteed to take place as Rose asked for time off following the sudden passing of her brother on October 3.
Rose was not present on Tuesday's episode of NXT, with Sonya Deville instead returning to the developmental brand and announcing that she will always have Toxic Attraction's back.
Other matches announced for Halloween Havoc include a Triple Threat for the NXT Championship between Bron Breakker, Ilja Dragunov, and JD McDonagh, Cora Jade vs. Roxanne Perez in a Weapons Wild Match, Apollo Crews vs. Grayson Waller, Julius Creed vs. Damon Kemp in an Ambulance Match, and a Ladder Match for the vacant NXT North American Title.
