Report: WWE NXT Halloween Havoc Set For October

Halloween Havoc is back

WWE's spookiest night of the year is set to return next month.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, WWE will air a special 'Halloween Havoc' episode of NXT at some point in October. The event traditionally takes place around Halloween meaning Tuesday, October 26 would be the most likely date for the show.

PWInsider also noted that NXT will be live every week from September 14, including throughout October. WWE's developmental brand recently taped three episodes of NXT ahead of renovations at the Capitol Wrestling Center as part of the Tuesday night show's rebrand.

WWE first revived Halloween Havoc last year for an NXT TV special. The show featured multiple title matches, including a Devil's Playground Match between Damian Priest and Johnny Gargano for the NXT North American Championship, and Io Shirai vs. Candice LeRae in a Tables, Ladders and Scares Match for the Women's Title.

Both stipulations were determined by 'Spin The Wheel, Make The Deal', but if WWE will bring back the gimmick remains to be seen.
