Report: WWE Planning To Hold Next NXT TakeOver In October

Not long after NXT TakeOver: 30...

WWE NXT's next TakeOver event is just around the corner as NXT TakeOver: XXX will be broadcast on the WWE Network on August 22. Only three matches have been added to the card so far as former Indianapolis Colts Punter Pat McAfee will face off against Adam Cole, Io Shirai will defend the NXT Women's Championship against Dakota Kai, and Bronson Reed, Damian Priest and four other Superstars will clash in a Ladder match for the North American Title.

WWE is already putting plans in place for the next TakeOver as Mike Johnson at PWInsider reported the black and gold brand's next major event will take place on Sunday, October 4.

This could kickstart a busy month for the wrestling behemoth as WWE's October pay-per-view was scheduled to be Hell In A Cell on October 18, and NXT UK TakeOver: Dublin is set to take place on October 25 at the 3 Arena in Dublin, Ireland.

Whether or not the NXT UK show goes ahead remains to be seen. Indoor gatherings in Ireland are currently restricted to 50 people and while the Irish Government planned to increase this to 100 people on July 15, it has twice been delayed and will next be reviewed on August 31.
