Report: WWE Possibly Only Planning One Show In Saudi Arabia For 2025
Update on WWE plans in Saudi Arabia
Jan 13, 2025
WWE's partnership with Saudi Arabia only continues to grow and the company will hold one of their biggest pay-per-views/premium live events of the year in the Middle East in 2026, with the Royal Rumble scheduled to be held in Riyadh. This will be the first-ever Royal Rumble to be held outside of North America.
With such a big event in January 2026, there may only be one WWE pay-per-view in Saudi Arabia this year. Fightful Select has reported that people within WWE have only heard about one show planned to take place in Saudi Arabia in 2025. The event is currently scheduled to be held in Jeddah in June.
WWE and Saudi Arabia have worked together since 2018 and WWE have often held two shows per year in the Middle East.
WWE's parent company TKO and Saudi Arabia look set to develop closer ties as TKO will manage a planned boxing league that will reportedly be funded by Sela, a subsidiary of Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF).
WWE's most recent show in Saudi Arabia was Crown Jewel in November 2024. That show saw Cody Rhodes and Liv Morgan win the Crown Jewel championships.
