Booker T Defeats Zilla Fatu In Comeback Match

Two-time WWE Hall of Famer was successful in his comeback match, even if he didn't get the win fairly.

At his Reality of Wrestling's Battle to the Bell event in Texas City, the 59-year-old picked up the win against Zilla Fatu. However, several wrestlers (including TNA's AJ Francis) interfered on his behalf before he got the pin following the Book End.

This was Booker's first win since a victory over Rex Andrews, also at a Reality of Wrestling show, back in January 2019. Despite announcing his retirement following his surprise appearance in the 2023 men's Royal Rumble match, Booker revealed that he planned on wrestling another match in April 2024.

Though they may have been at odds in the ring, Booker has been trying to help Zilla reach WWE. The five-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion was close friends with Fatu's father Umaga and began training Zilla in December 2022.

WWE reportedly have their eye on the 25-year-old. Given The Bloodline's presence on WWE television, some believe it is inevitable that he will join the company sooner rather than later.

Top talent within TNA, meanwhile, have been pushing for the promotion to sign Zilla.
