Report: WWE Queen Of The Ring Tournament To Be Held In Saudi Arabia

Women's wrestling in Saudi Arabia

More of WWE's plans for the upcoming Queen Of The Ring tournament have been revealed.

It emerged earlier this week that the tournament will begin on the October 8 episode of Friday Night SmackDown and October 11 edition of Monday Night Raw. All of the participants will reportedly be main roster Superstars and matches will air on Peacock in the United States. No details on how the show will be broadcast internationally have emerged as of yet, though.

The Queen Of The Ring tournament will seemingly run through much of October as Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Pro Wrestling Podcast has reported the finals will be held at WWE's Saudi Arabia show.

"Hearing that the current plan is to hold the Queen of the Ring finals in Saudi Arabia in October," Zarian tweeted.

WWE will reportedly return to Saudi Arabia on Thursday, October 21, meaning the whole Queen Of The Ring tournament will be wrapped up within two weeks. This will be the first time the company has held a show in the middle eastern kingdom since Super ShowDown in February 2020.
