Report: WWE Raw Match Praised Backstage

High praise for a WWE Raw match this week

WWE produced a strong episode of Monday Night Raw on April 17 from North Little Rock, Arkansas - with Cultaholic Wrestling awarding the show an 'A' grade - and one match, in particular, was marked out for commendation behind the scenes.

Seth Rollins and The Miz clashed in a 12-minute battle on Raw and Fightful Select have reported "there was a lot of positive reception backstage" to the match between the two former WWE champions. Both men fought back and forth throughout the contest but it was Rollins who scored the win after countering an Avalanche Skull-Crushing Finale attempt into a Superplex-Falcon Arrow combination before he followed up with the Stomp for the 1-2-3.

Rollins and The Miz are known for having excellent chemistry inside the squared circle and they previously produced a 20-minute banger over the Intercontinental Championship at Backlash 2018. April 17 was only their second singles match since that 2018 show, with Rollins and Miz having faced off on the February 20 episode of Raw earlier this year.

Elsewhere on Raw, Solo Sikoa defeated Rey Mysterio while Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, and Matt Riddle defeated The Judgment Day in the main event.
