Report: WWE Raw Undergoes Major Rewrites Due To Travel Issues

Plenty of changes had to be made to WWE Raw

WWE's original plans for the April 10 edition of Monday Night Raw in Seattle, Washington had to be scrapped after the show was affected by travel issues.

Corey Graves revealed when Raw opened that travel issues had prevented some members of the roster from appearing on the show, with reports from Sean Ross Sapp and Andrew Zarian noting there were "major rewrites" ahead of the episode because of the issues.

Dave Meltzer also reported: "The changes in tonight's Raw are due to travel issues, not the idea of the script changing. But a large percentage of the roster wasn't there, some weren't going to make it and others were getting in late so a lot of changes and backup plans were put in place in recent hours."

The Miz was originally scheduled to face Matt Riddle on Raw but Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio the match was pulled on Sunday for an unknown reason. Miz was missing from Raw entirely but Riddle ended up appearing following the main event, saving Kevin Owens from a post-match Bloodline attack with Sami Zayn to end the show standing tall. Damian Priest also did not address his attack of Bad Bunny on last week's Raw.

Fightful Select also noted that several talents made it to Raw but were not booked on the show.

Vince McMahon was also not at Raw but he does remain the head of creative, looking over scripts remotely.
