The wrestling world is still reverberating from the news that All Elite Wrestling are set to run London’s iconic Wembley Stadium in August, with the first ever AEW All In event.

All In is set to be AEW’s biggest show ever, and is the first professional wrestling event to run Wembley since the iconic WWE SummerSlam 1992 event at the old stadium.  Running Wembley will come at a price, though, as it is one of the most famous and in-demand stadiums in the world, and The Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer has reported on Twitter that AEW have paid around $400,000 (roughly £320,000) to use the site.

Tony Khan is no stranger to Wembley, with his Jacksonville Jaguars NFL side having played there on several occasions. Khan also knows the infrastructure of London’s sporting network due to his work with Premier League side Fulham FC, with many expecting AEW’s UK debut to take place at Fulham’s Craven Cottage Stadium before the news of All In broke.
