Report: WWE Reportedly Sends Feelers To Tessa Blanchard

The deposed Impact World champion was fired days ago...

Just days after having her contract terminated by Impact Wrestling, Tessa Blanchard has already drawn interest from WWE, according to a report from Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio.

"I know she's got feelers out from WWE. I don't know AEW," Meltzer said, during a report late Saturday night.

Blanchard was reigning as the Impact Wrestling World champion as of three days ago, having held the title since defeating Sami Callihan in January at the Hard to Kill pay-per-view.

The third-generation wrestler had been long absent from the company, staying in Mexico with her fiancee (fellow wrestler Daga), and had reportedly failed to send in promos for TV, or come to terms on a match where she would drop the belt to someone else.

Blanchard had been scheduled to defend the title in a five-way match at Slammiversary next month.

The 24-year-old has worked with WWE in the past, most notably in the Mae Young Classic. However, she was never signed to the promotion because of reported "attitude issues", according to Meltzer.
