Report: WWE's John Cena Gets Married

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, John Cena has recently tied the knot with girlfriend Shay Shariatzadeh. The couple reportedly got married at a private ceremony on Monday, October 12 in Tampa, Florida. 

Cena and Shariatzadeh were first spotted together in March 2019 and rumours that they were engaged have floated around for most of the year. 

Despite tying the knot, Cena has remained active on social media and recently announced he is the new voice of Honda. He tweeted: "We define who we are when we persevere in the face of obstacles. Proud to be the new voice of @Honda, starting with this message that encourages people to "Rise to the Challenge.""

This was the 16-time world champion's second wedding. He was previously married to Elizabeth Huberdeau from 2009 until May 2012, when he filed for divorce. Cena started dating fellow WWE Superstar Nikki Bella later that year and they were together for six years. The Doctor Of Thuganomics proposed at WrestleMania 33, but Nikki ended the relationship in April 2018, one month before their wedding.
