WWE NXT Revives "Spin The Wheel, Make The Deal" For Halloween Havoc

During last night's edition of NXT, the first three matches were finalised for Halloween Havoc on October 28. Two of the bouts will be rematches from NXT TakeOver: 31 as Damian Priest will defend the North American Title against Johnny Gargano, while Candice LeRae will try to capture the NXT Women's Championship from Io Shirai. Rhea Ripley will also finally face off against Raquel Gonzalez. 

That wasn't all that was announced on the show last night as Shotzi Blackheart revealed all three matches will have stipulations determined by Spin The Wheel, Make The Deal. 

The stipulations included on the wheel are as follows: 
• Coal Miner’s (Glove on a Pole) Match
• Blindfold Match
• Trick Or Street Fight
• Chamber Of Horrors Match
• Biker's Chain Match
• Buried Alive Match
• Boiler Room Brawl
• Casket Match 
• Devil's Playground Match
• Weapon Wild Match
• Shotzi's Choice

This will be the first time the concept has been used in 27 years. It was initially created for Sting's rivalry with Jake "The Snake" Roberts at Halloween Havoc 1992, but the match is regarded as a disaster after the wheel landed on a Coal Miner's Glove Match. The concept only appeared one more time after this at Halloween Havoc 1993 when Vader went one on one with Cactus Jack in a Texas Death Match.
