Fred Rosser - FKA Darren Young - has clarified that he was at the WWE Performance Center this past week in a guest coaching capacity, as opposed to re-signing with the organisation.
Rosser noted, in part, on X/Twitter: "This week, I made my rounds as a GUEST COACH, observing, learning, and seeing how things are done. But I also had the opportunity to work closely with some young hopefuls, brainwashing them into believing in themselves and exploiting the gifts they already possess! There were several others I enjoyed working with, but these three would definitely be my wrestling kids if I were there full-time!"
Those that Rosser put over included former sumo wrestler Hidetora Hanada. Rosser had previously announced he was at the WWE Performance Center which fuelled speculation that he had signed with WWE.
Rosser previously wrestled for WWE from 2009 until his release in October 2017. He is a one-time WWE Tag Team Champion as one-half of the Prime Time Players with Titus O'Neil, while he also had a brief stint being managed by Bob Backlund in 2016.
Fred Rosser has been a part of New Japan Pro-Wrestling since 2020, performing for the company in the United States as part of the NJPW STRONG brand. Today, Rosser is a coach at the NJPW dojo in Los Angeles.
