Report: WWE's Post-Payback Plans For Becky Lynch Revealed

Becky Lynch has been in a long-running feud with Trish Stratus but that programme looks set to end when the two talents collide in a Steel Cage Match at WWE Payback on Saturday, September 2 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Following the end of the Trish Stratus feud, Lynch could be set to pursue a championship, with WRKD Wrestling reporting that Lynch is expected to face off with NXT Women's Champion Tiffany Stratton at some point soon. 

"Becky Lynch is expected to face off against NXT Women's Champion Tiffany Stratton in the near future," WRKD Wrestling tweeted.

A programme between Lynch and Stratton was teased on the August 22 episode of WWE NXT after Stratton incorrectly referred to Lynch as a former NXT Women's Champion. Lynch then hinted at a future programme with Stratton, tweeting that she hadn't won the NXT Women's Title yet. 

Stratton was sitting in the crowd for the August 28 edition of Monday Night Raw, although she did not interact with Becky Lynch on-screen. Lynch did main event Raw, defeating Zoey Stark in a Falls Count Anywhere Match.
