Report: CM Punk Threatened To Quit AEW Following All In Altercation With Jack Perry, Has Been Telling People He "Hates This Place"

CM Punk isn't a happy camper right now

CM Punk's future with All Elite Wrestling once again appears to be up in the air.

The two-time AEW World Champion was involved in a backstage altercation with Jack Perry at Sunday's All In pay-per-view at Wembley Stadium. The incident took place between Perry's Zero Hour match with HOOK and Punk's match with Samoa Joe, with the altercation coming about after Perry referenced an earlier argument he had with Punk live during the Zero Hour. Those close to CM Punk and others within the AEW locker room have revealed different versions of what actually happened but all agree there was an altercation.

CM Punk and Jack Perry later left Wembley Stadium after being told they should go. Tony Khan announced during the post-All In media scrum the incident was under investigation and the belief is both Punk and Perry have been suspended pending the results of that investigation.

CM Punk's future with AEW may be in jeopardy, though, with Wade Keller of PWTorch reporting that Punk threatened to quit the promotion in the heat of the moment after the altercation, such was his unhappiness with "everything that happened." Fightful Select also noted that Punk has went as far as telling people he "hates this place" because of the constant issues within AEW. There appears to be little sympathy within AEW, though, as Fightful noted many within the promotion have said Punk is "plenty responsible for those issues."

Punk and Perry did not attend the All In after party and there has been little communication between Punk and Tony Khan since the altercation, according to Fightful Select.
