Oct 4, 2021
WWE's Rey Mysterio is currently on the shelf with an undisclosed medical issue.
The former World Heavyweight Champion was scheduled to face Roman Reigns at WWE's house show in San Juan, Puerto Rico on Saturday, October 2, but Mysterio was unable to compete because of an undisclosed medical reason, according to Fightful Select.
Roman Reigns instead teamed with The Usos against Finn Balor, Drew McIntyre and Cesaro at the live event.
There is no word on how long Mysterio will be out of action. The Master Of The 619 hasn't wrestled since a September 25 house show in Hershey, Pennsylvania when he competed alongside Dominik, Cesaro, Shinsuke Nakamura and Rick Boogs to defeat Alpha Academy, Apollo Crews, Commander Azeez and Sami Zayn.
The Master Of The 619 was also traded to Monday Night Raw with son Dominik during Friday's edition of SmackDown. Fightful noted Mysterio was briefly at the site of SmackDown on October 1.
Other Superstars traded from SmackDown to Raw include Edge, Zelina Vega and Bianca Belair.
