In recent weeks, fans have started to question what has happened to Shayna Baszler. The Queen Of Spades hasn't appeared on Monday Night Raw since she defeated Natalya on May 18 and WWE is seemingly moving forward with Asuka, Charlotte Flair, and Nia Jax as the three female stars on the red brand.
Why Baszler hasn't been on TV was revealed earlier today as Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Vince McMahon has lost interest in the former NXT Women's Champion, similar to other Superstars in the past like Cedric Alexander, Ricochet, and Humberto Carrillo.
McMahon has previously pushed Shayna but reportedly holds doubts about her ability to be a top female star on the main roster. Baszler was originally booked to win the Royal Rumble but Vince changed his mind and Charlotte Flair won the match instead. The Queen Of Spades was also booked to win the Money In The Bank Ladder match but the company went with Asuka after Becky Lynch revealed she was pregnant.
