Report: WWE Said To Be A Priority For The Rock

The Rock appeared at the end of WWE Bad Blood earlier this month, crashing the celebration of main event winners Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns. He gestured with three fingers, which some fans have interpreted as a reminder that he pinned Cody on night one of this year's WrestleMania.

Looking ahead to WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas, Nevada, Fightful Select have reported on the likelihood of The Rock making an appearance - even following speculation that he wouldn't be a part of next year's show. The report states:

"Sources within WWE claim that the company is a priority for the Rock, and he’s expected in the fold here and there in sporadic fashion. Higher ups that Fightful spoke to said the Rock has made clear he's a part of 'the family' and will appear when he's able.

"Sources at the Intuit Dome told Fightful they were hopeful the Rock would be present at the first WWE Raw on Netflix, and there’s buzz internally for it, even though it’s not confirmed. 

"In regards to rumors that Rock said he wouldn’t be working WrestleMania, in asking around, none of our WWE sources knew where that came from. Those we spoke to said they had not heard either way of him appearing. One WWE source said that it’s hard to predict what the Rock is going to do six months out because he’s going to do pretty well what he wants from a career and appearance perspective. Another WWE Producer said that if The Rock decides shortly before a show that he wants to appear, he will."

The Rock himself commented recently on rumours that he'd be missing out on WrestleMania 41, replying "Don't listen to that bulls***" on Instagram.
