Report: WWE Sees Damian Priest As The Company's Next Latin American Star

A star in the making?

Following his main roster debut at the Royal Rumble, Damian Priest was positioned in a high profile role on Monday Night Raw alongside Bad Bunny. The Archer Of Infamy has looked dominant in victories over Angel Garza and The Miz and he is reportedly scheduled to team with Bad Bunny at The Showcase Of The Immortals.

WWE seemingly has big plans for the former NXT North American Champion and Dave Meltzer reported on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio that the company believes he can be their next Latin American star.

Meltzer said: "They like him and also they see him as that Latin American star that they haven't had, even though they have one... They've been looking for that Latin star ever since Alberto Del Rio left... I think he's gonna get a real good chance."

This follows on from recent reports which noted Priest is "extremely well-liked" backstage and has made a positive impression with WWE management since his main roster debut.
