Report: WWE Sells Out Of Cody Rhodes Shirts Over WrestleMania Weekend

Cody Rhodes was a big merchandise mover

Cody Rhodes merchandise proved to be a big hit over WrestleMania weekend.

The two-time Intercontinental Champion returned to WWE after six years away at WrestleMania Saturday, being revealed as Mr McMahon's hand-picked opponent for Seth Rollins.

Cody would go on to win the match and merchandise for The American Nightmare was available immediately after his return, with three t-shirts displaying his American Nightmare logo in different designs going on sale.

Those shirts proved to be popular following his return and PWInsider reported WWE sold out of all of the Cody Rhodes shirts that were on sale during WrestleMania weekend at AT&T Stadium and the WrestleMania Axxess Superstore.

Fans who weren't in the Dallas/Fort Worth area for 'Mania can still get their hands on any Cody Rhodes merchandise they desire with all three shirts still in stock on WWE's United States and Europe stores.

Following his return at WrestleMania, Rhodes opened Monday's episode of Raw and revealed his intentions to win the WWE Championship to honour his father, Dusty Rhodes.
