Report: WWE Set To Offer Kairi Sane A New Deal

On this week's episode of Monday Night Raw, Kairi Sane returned to the red brand and went one on one with Sasha Banks. The Pirate Princess won the match by disqualification and The Kabuki Warriors will face Bayley and Sasha on next week's edition of Raw for the Women's Tag Team Championships.

This may well be Sane's final appearance inside a WWE ring as Dave Meltzer recently reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the former NXT Women's Champion will be returning to Japan soon to be with her husband. WWE has reportedly known about her plans since at least May and even planned a career-ending injury angle before Sane was legitimately hurt on June 1 in a match with Nia Jax. 

Alex McCarthy at talkSPORT reported yesterday that Sane's contract is set to expire in August but the company wants to keep hold of The Pirate Princess and are set to offer her a new deal. The role WWE will offer Kairi or where she will be based was not revealed but McCarthy noted the new contract on the table will be a lucrative one as the wrestling behemoth will offer her "better money than she could get anywhere else."
