Report: WWE Talent Upset About WrestleMania 39 Card

Unhappiness within WWE over WrestleMania 39

The planned WrestleMania 39 card has left wrestlers unhappy within WWE, according to a new report.

WrestlingNews.co have claimed that Triple H wants the card for WrestleMania 39 to be smaller than in past years which means a lot of talents will be missing from the Showcase of the Immortals. A battle royal is not planned for WrestleMania 39, similar to the last two editions of the Show of Shows which saw the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal bumped to the go-home episode of SmackDown.

WrestlingNews.co noted that plans could change but those they spoke to within WWE were unhappy about not being involved at the promotion's biggest event of the year. There was also further unhappiness over the planned involvement of celebrities and legends at Mania.

Three matches have been officially announced for WrestleMania 39 so far. Cody Rhodes will challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, Bianca Belair will defend the Raw Women's Title against Asuka, and Charlotte Flair will put her SmackDown Women's Championship on the line against Rhea Ripley. Several matches have been teased on WWE TV in recent weeks, including Seth Rollins vs. Logan Paul, and Rey Mysterio vs. Dominik Mysterio.

WrestleMania 39 will take place on April 1 and April 2 at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, California.
