Report: WWE Taping Episodes Of Raw And SmackDown Next Week, Possibly WrestleMania 36 Too

No live TV for a little while...

The coronavirus pandemic has caused widespread disruption to WWE. Friday Night SmackDown and Monday Night Raw were broadcast from an empty WWE Performance Center, and this week's episode of NXT featured no live matches and consisted of a long recap of Johnny Gargano's and Tommaso Ciampa's rivalry and features on Finn Balor and Rhea Ripley. The company has also decided to push ahead with WrestleMania 36 as it will be broadcast on April 4 and April 5 from multiple locations.

The company is currently planning to take additional measures as well, as John Pollock at Post Wrestling reported that WWE will be taping the remaining episodes of Raw and SmackDown leading into The Showcase Of The Immortals next week. This will include the March 23 and March 30 editions of Raw, along with the March 27 and April 3 episodes of SmackDown. Tonight's show will still be broadcast live from the WWE Performance Center, however.

Pollock was also told by one source that WWE are planning to tape WrestleMania next week, but another source said they were unsure if this was the case.
