Report: WWE To Shake-Up Commentary Teams For Move To Netflix

WWE planning shake-up for move to Netflix

WWE are planning to change up their commentary teams at the beginning of 2025.

Monday Night Raw will officially move to Netflix at the start of next year and WWE's flagship show will air on the streaming service in the United States and other major territories like the United Kingdom. WWE's international fans will also see pay-per-views/premium live events air on Netflix along with the rest of WWE's weekly programming in NXT and Friday Night SmackDown. NXT will be on The CW in the United States from October 2024, while SmackDown will air on the USA Network.

It was announced during the SummerSlam pre-show that ESPN's Joe Tessitore will make his WWE commentary debut on the September 2 edition of Monday Night Raw, with Michael Cole moving to Friday Night SmackDown.

This arrangement will only be temporary, though, according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer. As things stand at the moment, Michael Cole will move back to Monday Night Raw when the show moves to Netflix in the new year, while Joe Tessitore will head to SmackDown.

There is no word on which brands Pat McAfee, Corey Graves, and Wade Barrett will be on from September 2 or the new year.
