Report: WWE 'Very Happy' With Raw Is XXX
Raw is XXX was reportedly a success for WWE
WWE celebrated 30 years of Monday Night Raw on January 23, with a celebratory Raw is XXX edition of the historic wrestling show.
Featuring legends such as D-Generation X, Kurt Angle, and Ric Flair, Raw is XXX was a nostalgia-laden show, and according to a report from Fightful Select, the episode was seemingly deemed a success, with unnamed people of influence backstage in the company reportedly ‘very happy’ with how the show panned out.
As well as the numerous legends scattered throughout the show, Raw is XXX also featured a lauded opening segment, where Sami Zayn was put on trial by The Bloodline following several instances where his loyalty to the group was questioned.
The episode also saw the official return of ‘The American Badass’ version of The Undertaker, with Taker riding to the ring on a trike motorcycle as Kid Rock’s ‘American Badass’ blared over the sound system. Taker used this theme for his initial run as the ABA before switching to Limp Bizkit’s ‘Rollin’’.
