Report: WWE Waiting To Give LA Knight A Renewed Push
LA Knight will have to wait for a push until after SummerSlam
Fans have been waiting and waiting for WWE to strap the rocket to LA Knight for a push in the company all year. After missing out on a spot at WrestleMania 39, fans thought it would come post-Mania. After a lack of storylines and missing out on becoming Mr. Money in the Bank, there was a belief that he would go on to challenge for the United States Championship. However, after losing out in a fatal four way match last night for the right to fight for a chance at the US Title, LA Knight will be waiting even longer for something big.
Last night's result on Friday Night SmackDown looks to confirm a report from the Boozer Twitter account (BWE) that a push for LA Knight won’t be starting until after the SummerSlam. Previously at the post-show press conference for Money in the Bank, Triple H noted that “good things come to those who wait” in relation to an LA Knight push, though the waiting will go on until after SummerSlam takes place.
