Roman Reigns Vs. Jey Uso Tribal Combat Match Set For WWE SummerSlam

Roman Reigns and Jey Uso will settle the score at SummerSlam

After Jey Uso set out his challenge for Roman Reigns a couple of weeks back for a singles match, the pair finalised the stipulations and rules for their bout, which has now been officially announced as taking place at August 5’s SummerSlam PPV from Detroit, Michigan.

On last night’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and his cousin Jey Uso sat down for a contract signing in which they agreed to go head-to-head in a Tribal Combat rules match. This will see an “anything goes” stipulation, with the added extra of not only Reigns’ title being on the line, but also the title of being the “Tribal Chief”. This will be the third match in the series between Reigns and Uso, who last fought at Hell in a Cell 2020.

With this title match made official, the SummerSlam card now looks like this;

  • Roman Reigns (c) vs. Jey Uso - Tribal Combat for Undisputed WWE Universal Championship
  • Asuka (c) vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Asuka - WWE Women’s Championship
  • Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar
  • Seth Rollins (c) vs. Finn Balor - World Heavyweight Championship
