Return Takes Place On AEW Dynamite

Mina Shirakawa back in AEW on Dynamite

A return took place on the August 14 edition of AEW Dynamite from Norfolk, Virginia.

While they did not wrestle, Mina Shirakawa made her return to All Elite Wrestling in a backstage interview with Renee Paquette. Shirakawa revealed she had not spoken to either Mariah May or Toni Storm since May turned on the AEW Women's World Champion following her Owen Hart Foundation Tournament win.

Shirakawa admitted she was heartbroken over the situation, especially as she still loves them both. Mina revealed she hadn't picked who she would like to win at All In and she is simply hoping no one is badly hurt in the AEW Women's World Title match.

Mina Shirakawa had a run with AEW earlier this year and unsuccessfully challenged Toni Storm for the AEW Women's World Title at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. Having fought over the love of Mariah May, Storm and Shirakawa united after the match although Shirakawa's allegiances now are unclear.

Shirakawa recently announced that she would be returning to the United States and the STARDOM star wrestled for Ring of Honor at the promotion's tapings on August 10, defeating Rachael Ellering. It emerged soon after that Mina was booked for Dynamite on Wednesday night.
