REVEALED: TNA Wrestling's Original 2024 Plans Under Scott D’Amore

What Scott D’Amore had planned for TNA Wrestling in 2024 revealed

We are barely one month into 2024 and TNA Wrestling has already faced massive changes, from the successful brand relaunch at Hard to Kill on January 13, to the firing of former president Scott D’Amore on February 7.

D’Amore was removed by TNA owners Anthem Sports & Entertainment and replaced with Anthony Cicione effective immediately, but a report from PWInsider has shed some light on what D’Amore had planned for the promotion going forward before his sacking.

The report suggests that D’Amore wanted to grow the product by hosting tentpole pay-per-view events in major North American cities such as Las Vegas, New York, Toronto etc, with both Hard to Kill and the upcoming Rebellion taking place in Vegas. D’Amore is also believed to have wanted to push for live TV broadcasts on Thursday nights, with ‘loose talks’ about the idea said to have taken place within TNA.

With D’Amore out and Cicione in it remains to be seen if any of D’Amore’s proposals are followed up on, with Anthem said to be keen on bringing the TNA product more in line with other company properties.
