REVEALED: What Happened After AEW Dynamite Went Off The Air

AEW Dynamite featured a brief interaction after the show went off the air

The AEW Continental Classic kicked off on the Thanksgiving Eve edition of Dynamite at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Illinois.

In addition to Jay White vs. Rush and Swerve Strickland vs. Jay Lethal, Jon Moxley went one-on-one with Mark Briscoe in the main event to complete the first round of Gold League matches.

Briscoe has been a popular addition to the tournament but he was unable to score the win in his opening match. The Sussex County Chicken managed to kick out of one Death Rider attempt but Moxley followed up with a Stomp and another Death Rider to secure the victory.

Moxley celebrated as Dynamite went off the air and after the show finished, the three-time AEW World Champion called Mark Briscoe back as he was about to leave the squared circle. The two wrestlers then shook hands after a spirited contest before leaving the ring together.

The AEW Continental Classic will continue on Saturday's Collision with two Blue League matches. Eddie Kingston will take on Brody King, while Claudio Castagnoli will go one-on-one with Daniel Garcia.
