Danhausen Returns On AEW Dynamite

Danhausen is finally back in AEW!

Danhausen hasn’t been live in front of an AEW crowd for over nine months, last appearing at the Revolution PPV event when he teamed up with Orange Cassidy to take on three other duos in Jeff Jarrett & Jay Lethal, The Gunns, and The Acclaimed in an unsuccessful effort for the AEW World Tag Team Championships. Dahnausen was injured during this match, ruling him out of action for the foreseeable future.

Recently, vignettes began airing to hype up a Danhausen return, showing him singing “Very Nice, Very Evil” in the tune of London Bridge Is Falling Down. This went on for a few weeks before he finally showed up in a backstage interview segment with RJ City on the November 3 edition of AEW Rampage, before revealing that his return was actually coming the following week. This didn’t happen, though, with some reports suggesting that his return was delayed due to some busy episodes of Dynamite.

Last night, Danhausen finally returned, being brought out as International Champion Orange Cassidy’s Thanksgiving surprise for the Chicago fans. During a trios match between Jake Hager, Matt Menard & Angelo Parker and HOOK, Orange Cassidy & Katsuyori Shibata, Danhausen made his presence known by cursing Hager, leading to the finish and a victory for Cassidy’s team.
