REVEALED: What Seth Rollins Said About His Injury On WWE Raw

Will Seth Rollins be taking time off ahead of WWE WrestleMania 40?

The future of the World Heavyweight Title was up in the air heading into Monday Night Raw but WWE didn't make fans wait long to find out about Seth Rollins' future as the World Heavyweight Champion opened the broadcast on January 22.

After kicking off Raw, Rollins confirmed he had injured his left knee during his world title match against Jinder Mahal, noting he had suffered a grade 2 MCL tear and a torn meniscus. Rollins stated he would be out of action for three to four months if he needed to undergo surgery on his knee.

Before Rollins could finish his promo, though, he was interrupted by Gunther and Der Ring General said he was sorry to hear about Rollins needing to take time off. The World Heavyweight Champion promptly shut Gunther down, however, as Rollins confirmed he wouldn't be taking time off and would instead be rehabbing the injury.

Rollins then promised to carry the championship until WrestleMania 40, with Gunther and the World Heavyweight Champion shaking hands to end the segment.

There were immediate fears about Rollins' status for WrestleMania following the knee injury. According to reports, he is still scheduled to face CM Punk in one of the headline matches on either April 6 or April 7.
