REVEALED: WWE Pitch For Scientology Group With The Miz As Tom Cruise-esque Figure

Former WWE Superstars Mace and Mansoor recently appeared on the Bob Culture Podcast, where Mansoor revealed a unique pitch made during their time in the company. 

He explained: "We had a bunch of pitches. We had a multi-level marketing scheme, kind of cult, kind of deal. They liked that better. They had an idea where that was gonna be Scientology and the Miz was gonna be our Tom Cruise. It woulda been cool." 

Mace and Mansoor came together as a tag team in WWE after fulfilling several other roles on the roster. Mace was a member of Retribution and, for a short while, even a part of the Raw announce team. Mansoor won several PLE matches in his home country of Saudi Arabia, including a 51-man battle royal and singles victories over Cesaro and Dolph Ziggler.

However, the pair perhaps became best known as the comedic tag team Maximum Male Models, managed by the likes of Max Dupri (LA Knight) and Maxxine Dupri. Both Mace and Mansoor were released from their WWE contracts in September 2023.

The pair have continued to stay busy on the independent scene following their release, including a surprise appearance at a Deadlock Pro Wrestling event which caused a splash on social media. Mansoor is set to make his GCW debut later this month, taking on Tony Deppen in a singles match.
